They needed my know-how. I said yes.<\/p>\n<p>What no one knows is that for years I\u2019d felt undervalued, so I\u2019d been quietly building my exit plan. I had already launched my own small agency. A tiny office. A few clients I\u2019d won through networking. And it was going well.<\/p>\n<p>So, on my first day back, they froze when I sent an email to everyone. It said, \u201cDear colleagues, I\u2019m not here to train you.
